The independent Version 1.16 Disc snapshot lists 28 five-star options by element and team use. Its seven S+ picks sit with signature carries or broader element damage: Snowy Night Surprise, Fireworks, Deer’s Song, Ripples of Nostalgia, Petals of Blooming Mirage, Fleeting Glimmers and The Cat’s Treasure. A Disc’s value changes with its Main/Support slot and the team’s damage source. The listed lower-tier event and shop options can fill an element gap, but the source does not establish them as exact replacements.
Global five-star comparison snapshot updated October 18, 2026 for Version 1.16. It predates Firstlight Noya and My Guiding Star entering the live roster. No matched controlled test, full four-star coverage, current shop stock or universal best-in-slot claim is supplied.

What separates a Disc on this page
The source focuses on five-star Discs and judges them primarily by the element-wide value of signature options, alongside their best-user examples. That is a team-fit question, not a raw strength number. A Disc built around Fuyuka’s damage can be excellent for her and much less useful to another Ignis carry.

| Check | Why it changes the answer |
|---|---|
| Element | A mismatched element abandons the buffs the squad can use. |
| Damage source | Mark, Skill, Ultimate, Auto Attack and summon damage are different recipients. |
| Main or Support slot | Main slots carry the relevant Melody/Harmony behavior; Support slots supply starting notes. |
| Signature owner | A signature Disc may be strongest with the Trekker it was designed around. |
See Runic Discs and slots before treating the leaderboard position as a purchase answer. Also inspect the actual note requirements in the Disc detail screen; the tier table is too compact to prove every team can trigger them.

This is a dated shortlist, not the complete Disc database. Limited signatures and event shop items do not all have the same current availability. Check banners for an active recruitment pool and the selector guide for a named item’s actual choices.
Why the same Disc moves between teams and modes
A signature such as Fireworks is strongest for Fuyuka because it supports her built damage pattern. Ripples of Nostalgia likewise belongs with Shia in the source. Moving the same Disc to another element or another carry changes the effect’s recipient before any damage comparison begins.
Snowy Night Surprise is framed as an Ignis team option around Snowish Laru, while Witch’s Swing describes a team-wide Umbra benefit. Those are different kinds of contribution. For a boss team, prefer the effect your actual damage window can trigger; for a longer summon or area-damage team, evaluate the duration and target coverage in the Disc description.
The source does not provide a controlled score for each mode. It calls some teams proven community favorites and others flexible starting points; those labels are not a substitute for testing your own kill time, survivability or score. The team guide explains how the Main and Support positions change a recorded build.

| Element | Signature references | Other listed options | Replacement check |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ignis | Snowy Night Surprise, Fireworks, The Cat’s Treasure | Fist of Courage, A Gift for the Journey, One Shot, One Down | Match Skill, summon or attack damage and confirm the item is obtainable. |
| Aqua | Fleeting Glimmers, Bedtime Story, Sword Against Stream | All That Was Beautiful, Sunlit Blossom | The source marks an event-shop option; its old event deadline may have passed. |
| Ventus | Deer’s Song, Daylight Garden, Fly, O Caged Bird | Moment of Glory, One, Two, Three, Jump!, Lemon & Black Tea, New Star Prelude | Off-field, Ultimate and Support needs call for different entries. |
| Umbra | Petals of Blooming Mirage, Wisteria Dream, Ride the Waves With Me | Summer March, Witch’s Swing | Witch’s Swing is A-tier here and team-wide; Summer March is the budget pick. |
| Lux | Ripples of Nostalgia, Stellar Destination | No lower-tier Lux row in this five-star table | Use an owned alternative only after checking its element, Melody and note requirements. |
| Terra | Little Paradise | No lower-tier Terra row in this five-star table | Do not substitute another element merely because its tier is higher. |
“Budget” describes the source’s tier position or a named shop/event role, not a live price. Do not dismantle a built Disc for a lower-tier option before checking your current team and the event’s remaining stock.
A short decision checklist
- Confirm the team’s element and one actual damage source.
- Open the Disc’s complete Melody and Harmony text, then check that the team can supply its trigger.
- Decide whether the item is for a Main slot or Support notes before comparing tiers.
- Cross-check current acquisition in the selector, banner or event shop.
- Keep the old Disc until the replacement has been tested in the intended mode.
This page is a team-fit comparison, while the Trekker tier list compares characters. A top Disc does not repair a missing carry, and a top character does not make an element-mismatched Disc useful.
