Stella Sora already has an official Windows launcher, available through the Global website. Steam is a separate client: the store still said ‘not yet available’ at the October 19, 2026 source check, despite listing a planned October 19 release in its English/US view. Use the official website for the existing launcher and the Steam store for the Steam unlock state.

Choose the client and account before downloading

If you already play on another device, note the exact login method before creating a fresh account. An email sign-in and the Google button are different methods even if they display the same email address. The Steam FAQ recommends using the method already linked to your progress.
Install or replace the official Windows client
- Open the Global official website and use its Windows download entry. Check that you are downloading the native Windows client for Stella Sora Global.
- Compare the client’s requirements and available disk space before running its installer. Follow the installer’s displayed destination and installation prompts.
- Open the installed client and complete the downloads or update prompts it actually presents. Sign in with the method belonging to the intended Global account.
- If the old client cannot connect after a mandatory replacement update, follow that update’s official download instructions rather than repeatedly retrying an obsolete client.
The July 20, 2026 version 1.13 notice explicitly required a new app/client and said the old version would no longer access the game after maintenance. That is a documented replacement case, not proof that every later update can always be applied inside the existing launcher.
Use Steam’s actual availability control
Open the verified app listing linked below. While it shows a planned release and wishlist entry, that is not an available installation action. Once Steam exposes the installation option for your account and region, use the Steam client’s own library and installation prompts; do not treat a calendar date alone as confirmation that the unlock occurred.
Before the first Steam sign-in, use the Global Steam FAQ to identify the existing account’s email, Google or Apple method. Steam-account login is not supported directly by the other clients; the FAQ gives a linked-email route for continuing on those platforms.
